Fluidic automation

Compact and modular fluid handling platform

From simple pumping to full protocols, from tubing to chip.

Handheld and cordless, our instrument drives eight independent, reversible magnetic pumps — eight fluids dosed in parallel, each following its own cycle. Use them with tubing for standard dosing and pumping, or integrate complete protocols onto a reusable or single-use cartridge.

Platform

One instrument. Eight channels. Your protocol.

Most fluidic benches are an assembly of pumps, valves, tubing and controllers. We replaced that stack with a single handheld unit and pumps small enough to live wherever your fluid does.

Parallel

Eight fluids at once

Each channel runs its own cycle — volume, flow rate, direction and timing — independently of the other seven.

Reversible

Dosing in both directions

The pumps are bidirectional, so a channel can deliver a reagent and then recover it, with no additional valve or line.

Programmable

One button on the instrument

Everything else is set from a computer, over cable or wirelessly — direct control for a single transfer, or a complete protocol left to run on its own. The instrument stays cordless, inside an incubator, under a hood or in the field.

Two modes

Clip the pumps on, or build them in.

The same pump technology serves both a standard bench setup and a fully integrated consumable. You decide how far to take the integration — and you can change your mind later.

Standard · with tubing

Clip-on pumps

Clip up to eight pumps onto the instrument and connect your own tubing. The straightforward way to replace syringe and peristaltic pumps on the bench, with eight programmable channels instead of one.

  • Works with your existing tubing and vessels
  • Nothing to machine, nothing to develop
  • Pumps are replaced individually
Integrated · on chip

Pumps inside the cartridge

The pumps are integrated directly into the microfluidic cartridge. The instrument generates the magnetic field, the cartridge holds the magnetic membranes — so there is no fluidic, mechanical or electrical connection between the two.

  • Sealed, reusable or single-use consumable
  • Low dead volume, no cross-contamination
  • Complete protocols run inside the chip

Technology (Patented)

Magnetic actuation, nothing crossing the boundary.

The expensive, reusable part stays in the instrument. The part that touches your sample stays in the consumable. Between the two, only a magnetic field.

01

The field is generated

The instrument produces a controlled magnetic field for each of the eight channels, independently.

02

An Intelligent Magnetic Object (IMagO)

Whether in tubing or cartridge mode, a magnetic membrane inside the pump undulates and displaces the fluid peristaltically, forward or in reverse. The shape of that wave is not imposed from outside: it is written into the membrane’s own magnetisation, which turns a simple rotating field into a precisely defined travelling wave — and gives IMagO its name.

03

The protocol runs

Cycles are programmed per channel and chained into a complete protocol, from a single transfer to mixing and full multi-step assays.

Applications

Wherever a protocol moves small volumes.

The platform is designed for teams who already run a fluidic protocol by hand, or who are building one into a device.

  • Cell culture and perfusion
  • Organ-on-chip
  • Immunoassays
  • Sample preparation
  • Reagent dispensing
  • Point-of-care development
  • Lab automation
